How it works

CDC-DTF series elevator block brake is a spring pressurized electromagnetic brake, the brake is connected with the traction machine shell by installing screws, when the wire package is de-energized, the force generated by the spring acts on the moving plate, the moving plate moves in the direction of the traction wheel, and finally makes the friction plate and the traction wheel contact to generate torque, at this time there is a gap between the moving plate and the wire package,
there is no gap between the friction plate and the traction wheel, when the wire package is energized, the magnetic field attraction generated by the wire package sucks the moving plate to the wire package, and the moving plate compresses the spring when moving, At this time, there is no gap between the moving plate and the wire package, and at the same time, the friction plate is disconnected from the traction wheel to generate a gap, thereby releasing the torque.

Installation considerations

When installing, confirm that the friction plate is not bumped, scratched, bumps and other phenomena, the working environment temperature of the brake is -10 °C ~ 40 °C, should avoid storage and use at extremely high temperature or humidity. (If the working environment temperature is not in this range, please contact our company). installation must be carried out in strict accordance with the installation instruction manual, and the installation screws must be used with a torque wrench and locked according to the specified torque. During the entire installation process, pay attention to protect the lead wire, to avoid the damage of the lead wire and cause the brake to not work, and the brake cannot be lifted with the lead wire.
