How it works

CDC-DTP series brake is a spring-pressurized electromagnetic brake, the motor shaft is connected with the spline hub through a flat key, the spline hub is connected with the rotor, the two wire packages are connected in parallel or in series, when the two wire packages are powered off at the same time, the force generated by the spring acts on the moving plate, and the motor shaft drives the rotating rotor tightly clamped between the moving plate and the flange and the moving plate and the wire package, thereby generating braking torque. At this time, a gap is created between the moving plate and the wire package. When the wire package is energized at the same time, the magnetic field attraction generated by the wire package sucks the moving plate to the side of the wire package, and the spring is compressed when the moving plate moves, at this time there is no gap between the moving plate and the wire package, the rotor is released, and the brake is released.

Installation considerations
